I am going shopping with my dad today to find some dress suits for my first big girl job interview tomorrow! I am super excited so we shall see :)

It seems like all I’ve been doing since I got to this DC place is job searching and more job searching and frankly, I want to blow my head off. Is that bad? Probably, but in any case, the job search continues and hopefully I’ll find something of interest soon. I mean, I don’t even have to be obsessed with it, I just don’t want to hate it. Is that really so much to ask? Don’t think so.
Anyway, in dating news, I’m not getting hitched. Hallelujah. However, I did meet this goofball guy who makes me laugh harder than anyone I’ve ever met and I don’t know if anything will come of it but he’s pretty righteous so I dig it for now. I’m enjoying just laughing about my life for now :) DC is awesome and I’m adjusting well, I think I will head out to see Shannon and the rest of the gang this weekend (probably for football on Sunday) so it will be nice to see some familiar faces.
As for now, I’m headed off to have lunch with my mom and then going to happy hour with dad. It sure is good to be home and enjoying my family. I don’t know how much longer that will last but I suppose I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it.
